Sleep beneath a sky
so full of stars
you'll forget the city ever existed
Clear Creek Campground tucks into the North Cascades near Darrington — a quiet stretch of forest where the only alarm clock is a hermit thrush at dawn and the Wi-Fi you miss is the one you left behind.
A place that remembers how to be still
Clear Creek Campground began as a family retreat — a handful of trees, a reliable water source, and a conviction that the best nights sleep come with a view of nothing but canopy and sky.
Today we welcome campers who want the same thing: space to breathe, a fire that crackles without interruption, and the particular kind of quiet that only exists when you're far enough from the highway to hear yourself think.
We're off the main drag in Darrington, which means fewer headlights, fewer engines idling, and more time spent actually noticing the seasons change in the trees around you.
Everything you need,
nothing you don't
We've thought through the small stuff so you can stop thinking about it. Concrete pads, clean water, proper drainage — the unglamorous details that make or break a camping trip.
RV Sites
Level gravel pads with full hookups — power, water, and sewer. Wide lanes make backing in straightforward, even for longer rigs.
Tent Sites
Soft, shaded spots under the pines with room to spread out. Each site includes a fire ring and a flat area that stays dry even after rain.
Clean Facilities
Well-maintained restrooms with hot showers, potable water stations, and a dump station. We clean them daily because we'd want the same thing.
Creek Access
Clear Creek runs right through the property. Cool, clear water perfect for washing dishes, filling buckets, or just dipping your toes in on a warm afternoon.
Fire Pits
Every site has its own stone fire ring. Bring your own wood or pick some up in Darrington — there's nothing quite like a night fire under the pines.
Safety & Access
Well-lit entry roads, visible site numbering, and a host on-site during peak season. Your belongings stay as safe here as they would in your driveway.

Whether you roll in with a full-time home on wheels or just a tent and a backpack, we've got a spot waiting for you.

We came for the weekend and forgot to set an alarm. Woke up to a hermit thrush singing right outside our tent and realized we hadn't heard anything like that since we moved to the suburbs.
